Next Show: TBA

Red Apparition are four music geeks who draw influences from various facets of the musical gene pool delivering an artful bastardisation of grunge, blues, shoe-gaze and indie rock. (whatever that is.)

Often found dragging excesses of musical equipment into your local seedy dive the band has earned a reputation as a solid live act, selected to play Jim Beam’s Bootleg and shows for Carclew’s Off The Couch, including Fuse Festival 2011.

Triple J Unearthed chose “Vano” from the independently released EP “Action, Drama, Distractions & Armour” as a feature track in March 2011, exposing the band to a new and wider audience.

Red Apparition worked with producer Tom Barnes (The Transatlantics, The Shaolin Afronauts, The Swiss, The Honey Pies, Leader Cheetah)to record new tracks with a new EP due for release in the coming months.

"I have definitely recorded shitter bands." - Tom Barnes (Producer, Mixmasters)

"...an epic as fuck production that punches you repeatedly in the guts." - spoz (spoz.blogspot.com)
